Apparently a lot of them go up, stop and fuck off.
I don't know about you guys, but I've gotten "help" from many seemingly successful people, most of which have left me with a bittersweet aftertaste.
. Cryptocurrency traders and investors who tip me off with an upcoming coin or token, but there's no real information on it. They take it as an opportunity to flex their profits.
. Self-help "influencers" out there who are always ready to drop in a quote or some inspirational picture only, as if it's life-changing. Like, what the fuck do we do with this shit?
. I once had a famous self-help entrepreneur give me a personal call to talk about my situation back then. He was rambling on about how I needed to work hard and that he was there for me. He never once replied me after that.
. A friend got mad at me once cause I didn't follow his advice, not that I really knew what I was actually doing since I was lost as fuck.
. I have had "opportunities" in the form of extremely curt emails, complete with broken sentences and bad grammar.
And many more.
Now, I know I don't owe these guys shit.
No one was coming to save me and never will.
It's all on me.
But man...
To whoever is in a good place:
Know that there're people who are in bad places. They look up to you, but you're not a god. They'll pretty much swallow up everything you give them.
That's how vulnerable they are.
Tips. Don't. Solve. Anything. Unless it's like, a literal million dollars or something.
Empathy is needed.
Please, when you can, slow down and listen.
