When You Unknowingly Made An Impact

· Life and Musings

I just caught up with a friend of mine. We used to work together about ten years ago.

We weren't super close or anything, but we sort of had a connection.

We conversed pretty well since day one.

When we caught up, we had the consensus that we bonded pretty well because we were not alike our other colleagues.

He told me, "My first day of work was the day you returned to work too. You were the first person I spoke to and I am glad it was you."

I never knew he felt that way.

I am glad I was of help somehow.

I believe all of us are making impacts everywhere, most of which we don't even know about. And you can do that just by being yourself.

So be nice.

Be kind.

Talk to someone. You never know if they need the conversation.
